Our Team
Growing up together in Middlebury, Vermont, this two man team has spent years enjoying the green mountains and appreciating all that the great outdoors have to offer. On pace to graduate from their respective schools in 2027, Penn and Ollie strive to build something of value for likeminded people who prefer life off the beaten path. As students, they aim to apply their learnings in a collaborative way that will bring this idea out of the lab and into the forest.
Penn Riney
CO-FOUNDER / CTO
The technical brains of the operation, Penn grew up in Lexington, MA & Cornwall, VT before attending Johns Hopkins. At Hopkins, Penn plays on the varsity football team, pursuing a degree in Physics and a minor in Mathematics. When he’s not on the field or in the classroom, Penn likes to get outdoors through skiing, hiking, and more. Penn enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, no matter where he is.
Ollie anderson
CO-FOUNDER / BUSINESS LEAD
Ollie serves as the business lead of Jackalope, looking to drive growth & development from a finance/marketing perspective. Ollie is from Middlebury, VT and attends the University of Vermont, studying Accounting and Entrepreneurship. He enjoys playing soccer, skiing, and traveling. He loves spending time with friends and family in the mountains.
